Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This policy explains how Hadana ("we", the "App") collects, uses, and protects information when parents and guardians use the Hadana app to stay connected with their child's nursery.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, and phone number, used to create and secure your account and identify you to your child's nursery.
- Photos and media — images you view or upload within the App, such as photos shared between the nursery and parents.
- Notification token — a device push identifier (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can deliver alerts about your child's day.
- On-device data — stored securely on your device to keep you signed in and remember preferences.
How we use information
- To run core features: daily updates, attendance, announcements, and messaging.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To send push notifications you have enabled.
How we share information
We do not sell your data. Information is shared only with the nursery your child attends, and with service providers strictly necessary to run the App (secure hosting and push-notification delivery). We use no third-party advertising or analytics tracking.
Data security
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Credentials are kept in your device's secure storage.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time via the contact below.
Children's privacy
Hadana is intended for parents, guardians, and nursery staff (adults). It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
